This complete home hi-fi system offers lots of features for a low price, and delivers exceptionally good sound quality with mimimum fuss. The Onkyo CS-245DAB mini system contains everything you need to get started - just unbox, wire together and play music.
The CS-245DAB comes with a CD player that can play CD, CD-R and CD-RW discs (MP3 format is supported). It also has a built in DAB+ and FM tuner, plus a handy iPod dock on the top that enables you to charge and playback your music with ease. Control is simple via the supplied remote control! There's also a handy USB port on the front if you store your music on USB memory sticks - just plug it in and play.
The CS-245DAB isn't very powerful, but does deliver good sound. It doesn't have an alarm clock, however you can use your iPhone or iPod's alarm function through it when docked. We'd recommend this unit as a secondary system, for an office or the kitchen. It could be used as a main system if you aren't wishing to have head banging sounds!
