The Boston Acoustics TVee Model 25 soundbar cinema system is an unusual product, but one that satisfies a lot of customers. Surround sound can be a pain - 5 speakers spread around the room in various locations, with cabling running around each corner. The TVee Model 25 aims to stop all that confusion, keep things simple, but offer a realistic and alternative 'boost' to your existing TV's sound system. It comprises of two components - a single soundbar, which carries all the necessary connections and decoding for your system, and a wireless subwoofer that need only be plugged into the mains - the soundbar sends it the necessary signal for sound wirelessly, meaning placing your subwoofer couldn't be easier - and of course suwoofers can be placed anywhere in the room so you can hide it away with ease.

The soundbar is very straightforward - it uses just two speakers, but by clever processing emulates a basic 5.1 surround system. Of course, we'd not pretend that it's as good as a full surround system set up correctly, but actually for those with minimal room this is more than effective. Plug in your DVD or Blu-ray player via the optical input, and Dolby Digital sound processing converts the signal with ease. There's also an analog input if you just want to run the sound straight from your television too.

Everything is of course handled simply through the remote, and in moments you can have the TVee Model 25 up and running with ease, giving a substantial improvement over your television at just a fraction of the cost. The soundbar also has two handy keyhole style holes on the rear to enable you to simply hang to your wall. At what a price! Certainly for the money you'd be hard pushed to come close to this.
